to keep your “cyber friends” in your "cyber world?"

i have met a few ppl 50/50 some ppl are great some disapointments, the one i never get why lie about what you look like i mean when i get there i see you lied i am gone i could care less

I think if the friendship continued to grow in a healthy manner I would so love to meet in person. But it would be done in a way that I would feel entirely safe...
Sometimes it is so great to meet someone this way because it allows you to get to know each other from the inside then out.... The heart can be such a beautiful thing..
The other day somewhere on here I read where a lady met her best friend in person after years of emails, and IM talking.... That is true friendship...
But this is something to be handled with caution... It takes a long to time to get to know anyone........ Best wishes if you are considering......... â¥

Well, it doesn't seem very likely that would ever happen.
But if it did, then sure I would be open to meeting them in real life if we got on really well online.
I would gradually ease into the real world by exchanging photos and talking on the phone for quite a while before meeting in person. Then I'd probably meet them in public like a cafe, so if we hated each other we could leave fairly quickly. I'd arrange for my bf to be somewhere in the area so he could come get me if we were clearly boring each other stupid.

Well, I'm only 15 now, so I would say no. However, I do have this friend on here and she's a few months younger than me... But, nope, no meeting anybody. I'd rather keep the anonymity. At least until college or something.

I have met quite a few people from online. I always meet in a public place until I feel comfortable. My current b/f and I met online and have been together almost 2 years now.

Prefer to keep them in here.
If you plan to meet on the outside, make sure you meet in a public, well lit place. Such as a coffee shop, or book store.

my cyber friends in the real world. i barely have friends though, so it would be nice if i just could talk to someone

I will email and talk to people on line but would never meet them unless they were a friend or something.. Never a stranger
