Is it wrong to like someone that is Spanish but then I am asian?

I like this guy that is hispanic and he likes me too. But I kept hearing people saying to me. That that is wrong.

I am soo happy*crying* That people think that way.But have you seen anyone who MARRIED a person that is asian with hispanic or the other way around?

Why is it wrong? By people are you referring to some of your Asian friends-never mind them. This Is America-where all equal!Asian is NOT better than Hispanic and White is NOT better than Asian. and those who think otherwise are called Racist-a really ugly word but then horrible and ugly things have been done against people because they were different. You,Your Friends,The Hispanic Boy and Me we were all created by God and are Human Beings before we are anything and it was Jesus Christ who told us to love one another and opened Heaven to ALL. Were we to remain only with our own kind then we would have no attraction towards others(but same). We all have 2eyes,1nose,1mouth,2ears and so on and the different charactrisics are there because of geographic locations where the various races once lived before travel connected all the lands. The only laws that you have to be concerned are those of GOD and the why of that is because He has the power to send you to hell or invite you into heaven and of course laws so you will not go to jail.But the opinions of others you have no obligation to-----if you allow others to influence you and you walk away from this boy who will be there to dry your tears,to still the yearning in your heart---your friends? they'll be too busy having their fun, and people are busy leading their lives. YOU should be in control of your life if you wish to be a strong ,independent person and make your own decisions for ultimately you live your life and not someone else. And when you are old ready to die who will be there so you can taste life you passed up because of others opinions-None but yourself and if you missed life then too bad for the time is gone.Life is short and fleeting and if this boy makes you laugh,puts joy in your heart and a song into your soul even if it will not be forever the memory of it will always be sweet

Asian and Hispanic are so vague. If you don't know which country either of you are from, then the culture difference shouldn't make too much difference anyway. Here's my advice... don't ask or take opinions from closed-minded ignorant people unless you want ignorant, closed-minded answers. I actually advocate dating people of other cultures. It broadens your mind and prevents inbred kids. By the way.... I'm caucasian and happily married to a Mexican man. Several of my college friends also dated or married outside of their race. If you're getting close to college age, I encourage you to check out cultural organizations while you're there. You can learn so much.

Absolutely not!!! In no way, shape, or form is it wrong. God made every race and He did not say anywhere that one could not go out with another. Whoever came up with the idea that whites should only be with whites, and blacks with blacks, and Asian with Asian, etc... is screwed up. I have friends who are married and she is Mexican and he is Chinese and they are just fine. You go ahead and date whoever you want and don't even listen to the morons that tell you it's wrong. Variety is the spice of life and if you like spicy, then have at it!!!! My best to you!

I wish I were so lucky - Im hispanic and I love Asian girls (was raised in Asia) - but cant seem to find one that likes hispanic men...

i didn't know a couple like that, but i worked with a man who was half chinese, half mexican. he was raised in mexico and all his friends called him "chino". but you know what? you're both people. follow the theories about how people came to the amercan continents (that's plural), they came from asia. that would make you the same race, right? so don't stress. you like him, he likes you. if he treats you well, then what's the big deal? i'd rather date a guy out of my race (i'm mostly white with a little native american) who treats me really well, than date a white man who beats me and puts me down. does that make sense?

btw, in the original q, you say he's spanish, which infers he's from spain, making him european, but then you say he's hispanic, infering that he's from one of the american continents. i'm assuming that you meant hispanic originally, and that is how i answered your question. good luck. and follow your heart.

The only reson it is wrong is becuase you are upsetting your family. Since you are Asian, they expect you to go out with Asians!!!. No exceptions. we have the freedom to choose who we like. So, you have to follow your heart and convince your family how it is wrong to hate other ethnic cultures. Good Luck.

It's never wrong, but understand that you are going to run into people who feel your relationship is "wrong" in their eyes. Ignore them, but understand what you are getting yourself into.
