Alright, I'm from Seattle, if you can't tell already by my name. First of all, we don't even think they're that great over here. We just support them no matter what. The only reason Alexander did as good as he did last year is because of Hutchinson. This year, we've just been getting pounded with injuries, losing Hasselbeck and Alexander. I think they only played like 1 or 2 weeks together. So yeah, without our best players, we're doing alright. Second of all, we're not overated. We beat every team we faced at home, including in the playoffs. AND, we should have won the Superbowl, but the refs chose money over the game. And Jerramy Stevens screwed us, and still is this year. I can see why you think we're overrated, but remember, we have only played 1 or 2 games in which both Hasselbeck and Alexander were healthy. And with Hasselbeck back, Branch will be tearing up the defenses, and by establishing the passing game, it will open up holes in the ground. You can't blame Alexander for playing like a High School Senior against the 49ers, he still was suffering from the foot injury, and only had one practice that week. Yeah, I agree, our defense is getting way too cocky and overpursue everything, opening up huge holes everywhere. Just watch Monday Night Football and we'll see how they do.

Consider what has happened to the Superbowl losers the following season:
1. The 2005 Eagles, missed the playoffs
2. The 2004 Panthers, missed the playoffs
3. The 2003 Raiders, just plan sucked
4. The 2002 Rams, missed the playoffs
5. The 2001 Giants, missed the playoffs
Why does this happen:
1. Free Agents leave
2. They are now the hunted
3. Injuries to key players.
The Seahawks lost to a 49er team that has improved a great deal. They are not the world beaters they were last year, but lets hold off saying they suck until we see if they make the playoffs.

alexander just got off an injury give him a break.......hasselbeck is a very good quarter back and the only reason they lost is because of seneca wallace throwing those three interceptions. their defense could use some work but peterson is good. the new york giants are a great team and the seahawks wooped up on em..........they will make the playoffs and i gauruntee will win at least the first game

Gore had 212 yards of rushing, and Smith did not throw an interception. Because of the Seahawks, I think my 49ers might actually make the playoffs if they can beat the Rams this Sunday.

What other team would be 6-4 after losing their starting QB, RB, and Receiver?
I think you'll get your wish that they will make the playoffs, but then unfortunately you will get to watch as they kick a** all the way to the SuperBowl AGAIN!

Because they are good, but only if they have a healthy Hasselback and Alexander.
