My fiancee and I have been trying to conceive for some time now, and I have been taking pills to help this along. We had unprotected sex 2 days before my period and the day before my period started. I got my period, but it was shorter than normal.. lasted only 2 1/2 days. Since then, I have been having some weird pains in my left side (where my ovaries are), and I have been pretty tired the last few days and a little bit dizzy (but nothing too too bad). Could I have gotten pregnant before my period actually started? I havent missed a period yet or anything like that.. I was just curious if this could happen. Also.. would I have gotten my period if I conceived 2 days before it was due?

Yes, you could be pregnant, but I wouldn't assume that's the only possible cause of your pain. Definitely get it checked out. I hope that you are!!

Could very well be ovulation or ovarian cysts. You usually ovulate 10 to 14 days after your first day of period. www.babyhopes.com and get some ovulation and preg tests.

You are clear. The fact that you are menstruating is evidence that you do not have a fertilized egg in your womb. The menstruation is a thorough clean out.
