For these requirements, use a Linksys, specifically the WRT54G model for about $50 would work well for you. Linksys is typically the best in terms of quality, ease of use, support and features, according to PC Magazine for example. Don't listen to any one of us (good or bad) because you will always find people who say "X" is great and others who say "X" is terrible, so don't go by any one user's experience, pick up a magazine or two and read the test results. Linksys wins on most counts.

Linksys (a division of Cisco Systems) dominated the field for the Best Router award; its products swept first and second place with a total of 48 percent of the vote. Nearly one-third of voters named the Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router the top choice for Best Router. The Wireless-G Broadband Router transmits data at speeds as fast as 54Mbps, which is five times as fast as the 802.11b wireless.

I'm using a Cisco as I type. It's a wireless and wired router. Check out their web page. I've never had problem with it.

I've had really good experience from 2wire. I've used them personally and I used to sell them. They are wireless but offer 4 wired ports, you can also hook up a gaming device such as Xbox or playstation...they have awesome security!
Heres the website! Hope this helps
