For a celebration we're having tomorrow (an anniversary), I'm trying to decide whether to order some Papa John's pizza or go to Cici's. There's pros and cons to both: we've never been to Cici's for dinner before, so it's be a fun night on the town and the next day is off so we don't have to worry about being out late, but if we order Papa John's, we'll just be at home but we can save some pizza for later days instead of eating it all at once and watch a movie at the same time. What to do?

Papa John's has better pizza, but order it way before you want to eat because they can be really slow.
I don;t know how old you are and whether chidlren are a part of this outing, but I can;t imagine Cici's being "a fun night on the town" for adults.
Also, not sure what your bedtime is, but I can't imagine what would keep you out late at Cici's. Once you've gotten full, there is not much to do there except to play video games or watch the cartoon channel or sports network blaring at you from the big screen TV.
The pizza has almost no cheese and is mostly crust. You can taste the preservatives on the salad. I have never been to Cici's without being overwhelmed by all the screaming kids-- the only reason to go there in my opinion is if I am the one with a bunch of screaming kids to entertain....
Go for the Papa John and movie. Or, find an inexpensive pizza joint with candles and red-checked table cloths.

Stay home and have Papa John's. I would be really disappointed if my husband took me to Cici's pizza for an anniversary, even if we had our son with us! I would rather have a family night in than go to Cici's. If you have your heart set on going out and having Italian, go to Olive Garden or a local Italian place.
Cici's is good if you have a lot of people to feed for cheap and no one can decide what kind of pizza they want. The crust is too hard, and there is more crust than anything else (not in a good way). I hope what ever you decide you have a good time!

it all depends on what type of anniversary youre celebrating. if its anything involving your loved one, neither is the way to go. if its something with kids then, cicis the way to go. its the right place, $4.49 for a buffett any child under five eat free. however, youre right, papa and cicis have pros and cons, but what food place doesn't? what ever you choose, just make sure where you go fit the person and the occassion. you dont want to go for pizza and the recepient(s) is expecting something more glamorous. congratulations on your anniversary and good luck picking. let us know how it turns out.

Cici's SUCKS. If you like Papa John's, you'll hate Cici's. They don't do classic pizza.
Papa Johns wins!!!

Cici's the better way to go. It'll be a fun night on the town when you're at Cici's.

Papa Johns for sure! We just went to
CiCi's pizza over the weekend. Pizza is very generic. Reminds me of hospital food. The salad bar is very limited. Salad and dressings, that is about it. The only good thing is the price. All you can eat for 4.49 if you dont mind the taste.
How about a nice dinner at Olive Garden, LoneStar or Outback. Lots of yummie places to go. And if you go to CiCi's pizza you will not be out late!

CICI'S HAS A BETTER VARIETY OF PIZZA'S AND THEY HAVE A BUFFET, SO YOU CAN GET FAT FOR HOWEVER LONG YOU STAY. ON THE OTHER HAND, PAPA JOHN'S DELIVERY IS TOO SLOW AND THEY DON'T PUT TO MUCH TOMATO PASTE ON THEIR PIZZA.

well if you go to CICIS everyone can pretty much eat whatever they want and you have no mess to clean up afterwards, and dont have to worry about running out of pizza or what to order.
