Absolutely. The 1960 version of The Time Machine was much better, IMHO, than the 2002 version, although I'll take hot-blooded Samantha Mumba (2002 version) over fragile Yvette Mimieux any day.

The Day the Earth Stood Still is, of course, one of the all-time classic sci-fi films, and still relevant today. It has in it what has to be one of the most famous lines in movie history, "Klaatu barada nikto."

And Harvey -- who could forget the classic Jimmy Stewart characterization of Elwood P. Dowd and his imaginary(?) friend Harvey, a "pookah" in the form of a giant rabbit.
