Why Blueberries? If you are just trying to give them a project thinking outside of the box there are so many kids craft books to give you ideas, unless you and your children identify with Blueberries and feel it is very important to use them in an art project. Just eat the delicious balls of joy.

I've heard that mashing blueberries and mixing in milk makes a paint that used to be used on houses back in the 1700s and 1800s. the blueberries give a slight color and the solids in the milk hold it in place.
