famous? be better at the style of dance you do than anyone else ever has been and/or come up with something new and innovative that will enhance the dance and people will be able to recognize and attribute to you.

If you dance at a studio....all you have to do is work to the best of your ability so you excel to the next level. Once you get the hang of it and you are unstoppable, go to auditions and other things that can make you local. Then if you do an unbelievable job at that, you can go state and even higher.

You can become choreographer for a dance studio/company or a theatre company.
Music theatre uses so much dancing so you can travel with theatre company's or Broadway even.
You can open up your own studio and teach.
But to get here you need to have talent, determination, confidence, and a degree!

become 'professional'......aka really good at what you do. then practice preforming in front of a lot of people (work as an entertainer on a cruise line!!) and then enter competitions, or work for professional dancing companies like cirque du soleil
