Hi Samantha,
I'm a movie theater owner and am currently playing Happy Feet which is rated PG, and my customers seem to like it very much. Deck the Halls, which is rated PG looks cute, but may not be suitable for the youngest members of the family. It starts on November 22.
The family movie I'm most looking forward to is Charlotte's Web, which is rated G and opens on December 15. It looks like an instant classic. If you need a G rated film, you may still be able to find The Santa Claus 3 playing near you. I can't vouch for the quality of this one, as I haven't played it.

Rent ' Secondhand Lions ' with Michael Caine and Robert Duvall playing paternal twins and Hayly Joe Osmant playing their disfunctional great nephew. One of the best all family movies I have seen that is not a Disney movie in about 20 years. Everyone I know thoroughly enjoyed it. And even though I am single and live alone, it is one of my favorite movies of all time too.

Happy Feet looks better than Flushed Away in my opinion, though I haven't seen either one.

Stay away from Santa Claus 3. My wife and I saw it, and it wasn't funny at all.
