I lived without my Father for about 23 years, he has recently just come back into my life, a little to late but we're good mates now and we talk on the phone once or twice a month, he still lives in another country.

I grew up with my grandmother. Mother passed when i was young. Father was 'absentee'. I guess you could say I grew up with neither. he he

I saw my dad about twice a year. Once my mom remarried when I was 12 then I had a father figure around daily.

I grew up with him, actually I'm closer to my father than to my mom... unfortunately he passed away 4 years ago and I'm still hurting every time I remember him. He's a great father and I really, really missed him so much... :((

My biological dad has not been around sence I was 18 months old after he shook me a couple times and kidnapped me but my step dad has been my dad for like 21 years and he is my dad.

I grew up with my father but there were times I wish he was absent a lil more...liked to drink a lil too much and was violent..
