I believe it belongs to both Israel and Palestine. Palestinians rejected the partition plan of 1949 so they ended up without a country which I'm sure they regretted all these years. It's kind of like having two nations living on the same space. It's kind of like Native Americans and White people in America only the Native Americans got a lot worst deal. But now there is a Palestine and an Israel and both parties should respect each other and accept the fact that other isn't going away and deal with it.

Right off the top of my head:
It belongs to Israel.
1) There has never been a country called Palestine.
2) There were no such thing as Palestinians till the 1970's.
3) Those called Palestinians are indistinguishable from the Arabs in the 21 sovereign Arab states.
4) There were very few Arabs living there before the start of modern Zionism.
5) Jordan already has more than 3/4 of the land of mandatory Palestine. That should be plenty for them.
6) Israel is 1/7 of 1% of the Arab lands.
7) Jews have earned a right to the land by building a modern democratic society.
8) Arabs have forfeit any rights they may have ever had through more than 80 years of terrorism against ther Jews.
If that's not enough to convince you let me know.

Land belongs to everyone and everyone belongs to the land. All people deserve a home. Politics should not dictate who belongs where. Religion should not be used as an excuse to wage war and displace people. There is only one planet we live on and we have to learn to get along. Because the way we are going now, Mother Nature will get us all.

Palastinians have the legitimate land claims, the nation of Israel was founded in 1949 in an attempt to apease those who suffered a holicost. If any other race of people had done this they would be condemend. But along Came Bun G. and said this is our land its ripe for the pciking, we were promised this land and have it here in our book. Israel is a terrosit nation, they have attacked us , recall the USS Liberty?
