transfer rate of 802.11b and 802.11a?

Im thinking that 802.11b is faster, but no matter how many times i read that section on wikipedia, i still cant find it

its 802.11b and 802.11g
b is slower the rate is 11mbps
g is faster the rate is 54mbps
