The circumference is equal to pi*diameter
Taking pi to be 22/7(approx),
22d/7 = 20
22d = 20*7
22d = 140
d = 140/22
d = 70/11 miles
d = 6.3636363636... miles
d = 6.36 miles (approx)

utilising circumference = 2 x pi x radius a million. circumference = 2 x 3.14 x 4 = 25.12 feet 2. circumference = 3.14 x 10 = 31.4 yards 3. sixty 2.8 = 3.14 x d so, d = sixty 2.8 / 3.14 = 20 meters 4. section = pi x (radius)^2 = 3.14 x (5)^2 = 3.14 x 25 = seventy 8.5 sq. inches 5. section = 3.14 x (6/2)^2 = 3.14 x 9 = 28.26 sq. feet 6. 2826 = 3.14 x (r)^2 r^2 = 2826/3.14 = 900 r = 30 inches EDIT : Oh wow (the guy who replied in the past me ) your 5th ans is erroneous ...

D=C/π

D=diameter
C=circumference

C = 2pi*r = pi*d (where d=diameter)

So if you know the circumference, then diameter will equal C/pi.

C = pi*d
C/pi = d

C = 20
d = 20/pi = 6.366 (rounded)
