Mostly it's easier to reach things that are high up.
Adults--for better or worse--do have some control over their lives. Children are at the mercy of adults for even the most basic of wants. Like the song says, "bless the beast and the children for in this world they have no choice, they have no voice."
That in a nutshell is why it's easier to be an adult.

Adults have it easier because they have a sense of responsibility. With age comes wisdom. Adults have the experience and knowledge to make their lives better. They can improve their live without the help of others. With children, it a somewhat of a necessary to have a supporter or guide; such as their parents, friends, family, teachers..... As every other answer adults do have control over their entire life , as where children can be easily influenced by others. Say if kids want to do one thing yet majority of their friends have another goal, they would have a feeling of wanting the same things. AKA "peer pressue"
So basically adults are more independent. And being independent is a VERY important thing because; what if you cant find that special person to always help you out, or have your back. Adults can do things themselves in most situations whereas children need guidance.

While I no longer have to do essays I constantly wonder what would happen if I switched roles with my children. You're right though, I don't think I'd want to go back to high school but elementary would be nice!
I don't really think it's "easier" to be an adult. Believe me, you don't want my work either! I'm a teacher!!! I have to READ those essays!

I'm not sure it IS easier, but one advantage that adults have is that they have more control over their own lives. An adult can decide for him/herself what to eat, wear, do, and with whom to spend time. A child doesn't have that freedom. If an adult is being abused or mistreated, (s)he can just leave the situation; that isn't true for abused or mistreated children.

a child has to listen to their parents all the time plus they have to listen to school and they homework plus rumors i mean imagine going to high school all over again while adults do not have homework school and they do not have to listen to their parents most of the time and you can go out without having your mom keep asking you where are you going when are coming back and all that stuff

Well, it's not. In any way.
But I suppose an adult has more choices to make, so they control their own lives.

It isn't, plain and simple. Well lemme think, you have the right to vote. You make your own decisions instead of having someone make them for you and make your own rules.
