Why is it legal for a man to go around without a shirt, but it is not ok for a women? A man with bigger breast that most women has free range of walking around without a shirt, but if a women does it someone call the papers. We as a society shouldn't be shaming our citizens for doing a natural activity such as breast feeding. The babies have to eat too. Is this anymore disgusting than watching someone eat a hamburger with their mouth open. I would much rather see a beautiful baby feeding than that. Are we too lost in our "civilized world" that we can't see the shear beauty in any natural act anymore? Is this really that big of a deal that we should even be wasting our legislative time and money on. I think not. If you don't like it don't look.

There was an excellent documentary about this problem on TV. The problem occurred at a womens shoe store in a mall in Chicago. The breastfeeding women were finally stopped when Al Bundy and his No Maam friends took their shirts off.

No, there's no longer. There could no longer be rules in specific declaring a woman's precise to breastfeed her toddler in public in some states, yet there are actually not any rules in any state that prohibits breastfeeding in public. The passing of rules to guard the toddler's precise to consume in public would not substitute any present rules, it only clarifies issues a sprint.

I guess you are trying to be sardonic - though I think you missed your mark there.
I think it's very sad that America is so obsessed with nudity that a perfectly natural act like this has been shunned by society. It used to be very common to see a mother breast feeding on a bus, at work, or just out shopping - no-one was surprised or upset. Now we have to have 'lactation stations' where a mother skulks off to to feed her child. Sad, sad, sad.

No, if they were suffering from shame they would be hiding the breast feeding, and not leaving the house during the months they were "showing" and lactating. Grow up. If it bothers you, don't look.

This is an old issue, long since settled. Women have the right to breast feed in public if they so choose.

You make it sound like something can actually be seen when a child's breastfeeding. You can see more tit in the average bikini.
