Pouring rain could mean lots of things depending how individuals feel about rain.

If you like rain, it could mean over joyed.

However, most of the time, pouring rain means interruption, difficulties, shock, tedious problems. Projecting that in your dream could mean you are not seeing the brightness of your life. Deep down, you are crying within for some sadness you may have. In other words, you may feel sad and you vent it out in dream and want to use that to cover up your sadness. However, it all depends on how one sees rain.
