Yes, there is A LOT of Blood, and A LOT of swearing and GORE.
I also just checked the options on the game, and you can turn on and off the "Extreme Content".
SO I guess you can turn off some things.

Yes you can turn off the blood. There is swearing, but so far I have heard nothing but the "sh" word, but nothing else. Hope that helps
