My boyfriend is having a serious family problem on which he refuses to talk about. He refuses to communicate with me and he tries to push me away. I do realize that this is a serious problem, and I'm not asking for his attention, but why can't he open up to me and trust me that I will be there for him, no matter what.

When a man goes through some problem he looks for an escape, even if it is just a temporary escape. Have you ever thought that maybe he's happy just being with you and that is the only happiness he looks forward to when things at home aren't going so well? You are his escape, so when he's around you, he doesn't want to think or talk about his problems. He is probably mentally and emotionally exhausted and looks forward to just hanging out with you.
Take my advice, back off. Let him keep things to himself for now. Trust me, he does not have a problem opening up to you or trusting you. He just wants to a moment of peace with one of the only people he cares about. Isn't that enough comfort knowing that?
You need to be your normal loving self and stop being so overprotective and way too concerned. If it ever came to be something serious, believe me, he will confide in you. I think that when he is with you he is happy and doesn't want to ruin that feeling by talking about his problems.

Boys are not as easy to communicate to as the girls are. If he is already stressed about something and does not want to talk about it, don't pester him more. Just be there for him, silently supporting him and try to make the time he spends with you as comfortable and happy for him as possible. Perhaps, at the time, when he feels ready to talk, he will tell everything to you but until then, keep your patience. If he seems too serious, just say gently that he can trust you with his secrets and you are there whenever he needs someone to talk and then be quiet.

Maybe you are pushing too much, men are very easy so just wait for a while, give him lotz of love and try to support him. Hell open up but try not to make a big deal aboout it cause maybe thats why he doesnt wanna open up.

give him some time to loosen up. forcing him will make matters worst. if you love him, be patient and give him the time he needs to think and sort things out. he will open up to you in time when he needs to.

gotta give the guy a little space. what i would recomend tell him if theres anything that he wishes to talk about you will be there just ask you. and be honest about it . give him your phone # and say call me when you want to talk.

jUST LEAVE HIM LET HIM HAVE HIS SPACE BUT TELL HIM U ARE THERE FOR HIM WHEN EVA HE IS READY 2 TALK. HE WILL OPEN UP 2 U JUST GIVE HIM A LITTLE SPACE AND TIME.

you should just let him be but support him in whatever troubles he is having. and just wait for him to open it up to you. and it is not that he does not trust you her just wants it to me a private thing for him. but just let him open up to you dont nag him about it.
