Yes...absolutely...I cannot stand to watch her show just because of that reason. And there is no reason she should have a show, shes not funnt at all, and is so damn annoying to listen to.

Alot of Native Okies have an accent just like hers, just depends on where you live in the state but that is with every state. I'm from southern OK and I sound nothing like some of the folks in the upper panhandle of the state. Self absorbed? Hell no.. Reba is original as they come, and for folks to say different, obviously don't know anything about Okies or southern hospitality. But then again, its easy to judge something you know nothing about. Thats the internet for ya...

She puts on a FAKE southern accent. Oklahoma is not part of the south, never has been never will be. It's a Midwestern state. I unfortunately lived there for a few years and never met any native Oklahoman with a southern accent, in fact a colleague and I had both coincidentally and recently moved there from Georgia and we were often teased for our southern accents.

Reba is a greeeeeat singer. She can wack a note like nobody on Sunday! I'm all about grunge/alternative/Shostakovich but she and Roseanne Cash are welcome on my ipod 24/7. On the other hand ALL CELEBS SEEM ANNOYINGLY SELF ABSORBED. (It's like a definition/job requirement.) BTW if I hear about TOMKATT one more time I 'm gonna stick my head in the juicer and make a brain smoothie!

I think 'Bastan' accents are more annoying than her Oakie accent. I don't think she is self absorbed at all. I think she is a very humble and modest person who helps less fortunate people...i.e. Habitats for Humanity :o)

She has a Southern accent which is quite charming, she's funny and talented and her show is hilarious. Plus she has awesome hair.
