You know what I'm talking about: the circle area. When you touch it (not push) is it touch-sensitive like the 2gen? Thanks.

Do you think the touch sensitive pad would cause problems when it is inserted into a NIKE armband and when running?

Thanks.

all iPods have touch-sensitive pad
The touch sensitive pad will recognize human skin only (Many products are like that, i dont really know how it works). If u don't have an iPod, go out to BestBuy and try using it with a glove, u'll see. It's also a downside of the iPod, u can't bring your iPod and go snow boarding, since it wont recognize your gloves.
Oh, and one last thing, there's a hold switch, which will lock the iPod and turn off the screen, but the music will still play

I spose that it is like that. The only it will get damaged in an armband is if it fell out. :P
The first thing you might want to do is buy a soft case. Hard cases like leather will make the iPod hot and make max battery life lower than normal. Oh, make sure it has a clip so you can clip it on to your armband. Last, just turn the Hold switch on and ta-da!
One more thing, make sure that the armband is tight enough on ur arm, or it will fall off.

i think of you bypass on iTunes on your laptop and while it pops up, you click the button on the spectacular which says "lower back up" or something like that, and basically each thing from the iPod would be saved onto your laptop. then you relatively can plug on your iPhone 5 and sync each thing in it.
