In Texas Hold ''Em, How many times should I shuffle before dealing? I know there is no set amount, what is considered OK before dealing?

Whatever is agreed upon by the number of people playing. However, for a general guidline:

If you're a GOOD shuffler, (meaning you don't shuffle in big chunks of like 5-10 cards, than 2-3 shuffles should be fine

If you're a BAD shuffler, shuffle the cards at least 5 times. Otherwise, you'll have chunks of cards that were the same as the last set of hands.

Depends who you are playing with and what the stakes are in my opinion. If you were in a local tourney with say 20 folks at the pub, well your gonna want make a show of being above board if its a self deal game....go over the top to avoid accusations. Better folks complain of you being slow than cheating.

On the other hand, if its a home game with your kids and your playing and your playing for their pocket money......just kidding. Home games dont need to be so formal and just go with whatever is agreed. After all - everyoen has the same advantages/disadvantages right?
