Get a cat or, even better, two or three cats. If you don't want to keep a cat try to borrow one from a friend. The cat does not always have to catch the mice but just by being there will put the mice off as they will smell the cat in the house.

unfortunately, you cannot keep mosquitoes from biting. The best you can do is prevent them from biting YOU. For this, you need adequate screening and maybe mosquito netting around your bed. Mosquitoes are not attracted to light, so forget the zapper idea. The only thing that attracts mosquitoes is smell of living beings. With regards to the mouse, if you cannot find the entrance and block it, you will have to lay desirable food on an UNSET trap over and over again for a week. Let the mouse know where the food is, that its safe and available. When you see that the food has been removed or disturbed several times in a row, then SET THE TRAP. Bingo. Nasty piece of work, but effective!

Get two cats. One cat can get lazy, but if it's got competition then nothing else but you (and the cats, obviously!) will stay alive in your house!
