No, I wouldn't. People have a habit of taking the easiest way to anything and it makes them weak. Sure, the money is nice today but over time you lose the ability to fend for yourself. You lose the ability to go out and earn your own way in this world. So waht happens when the government cuts the free funds?

Also, there is no such thing as free. It gets paid by somebody somewhere, always. If they are giving it to me they are taking it from somebody else. That's wrong.

Nobody wants a social program that is designed to be abused, most prefer the ones that help a lot of people and are abused by very few.

Sometimes I think that republicans would rather let millions of people wallow in poverty than accidentallly help one person who doesn't need it.

No, but for the most part they do already if you know where and how to ask. It's no wonder we are trillions in debt.
