If a dog is chasing my car, I slow down almost to a complete stop.
I'm sure there's someone else who does that. If not try it the next time a dog chases your car.

Out of pure annoyance. Once there was a group of dogs talk about bewilderment.
It was like "WTF!!!!"

Yes, I used to have my car chased by one particular dog, a few years ago, but, it didn't only chase mine, it chased every car that came down the road and NO I never slowed down, in fact I did quite the opposite, I went faster, when it knew that it couldn't catch me, it gave up, I knew that it would get fed up before I did, then after a few months I never saw it again, I reckon the poor thing chased one car too many.

It's never happened to me, I think it's an American thing where dogs chase cars. But if one did I would definitely play with it! Top marks!!

I am glad you asked this question education! I ran over a dog once because he was sleeping in the middle of the road. It didn't kill him though, just scared him so he jumped up and ran away!

the way i think is if you stop the dog might think itll keep runing in to it so it will stop to i hope heha
