YES!! I could see if we were fighting in our country, for our country but at this point our men and women need to come home

I agree with you on the war issue as I favor Switzerland's position on war anyhow. The draft wasn't all that bad though as I found the guys that were drafted were a lot sharper than the guys that joined and it made for a good transition from the home nest to getting out on your own.

I think we should call Rangel's bluff in January. A straight up or down vote on the draft. He keeps doing this political posturing. Like Lucy and the Charlie Brown football... he keeps voting against his own bill at the last minute.

No I don't think they should draft anymore. The Viet Nam draft was a nightmare, I would never want to see this happen again. No one should be forced to fight or kill.

Fortunately, there are only a few that want to bring back the draft. We're not going to see it. The legislation he actually proposed last wanted men AND women aged 18-40 to serve. That is crazy.

where do you liberals come up with this stuff...just exactly how is the war illegal....lmfao...and if there were enough people to fight the wars why are the soldiers forced to do two and three tours....

perhaps a little more careful fact checking might be in order...

there wont be any draft in the future, the american governement is negotiating with the japenese to have a milion combat ready humenoids built, who will fight our future wars
