Once you get out of home, take different routes to the same place. Each partner gets to buy a dress on the way that your spouse doesn't know about, dress up in it, get the makeup or beauty treatments done on the way and buy a present for the other partner. They meet as if they are meeting for the first time. Once they meet, they need to get introduced, ask the partner to have lunch or dinner with them, break the ice and may be then tell them about why you love them so much. The partners spend a long date like teenagers do. Looking into each other's eyes and whisper sweetly with each other for hours. A romantic movie is a must. Then, of course you get to decide what to do next. Go on a long drive, stay in a honeymoon suite in a hotel for the night or come back home for a cuddly cozy evening.

Start with sleeping late in bed, fixing her breakfast in bed, or taking her on a picnic in a romantic spot (preferably by a lake). This can be done in fall/winter too with hot items rather than cold from your favorite deli (Whole Foods).
Then join her for a couple of hours in a day spa mani/pedicures together, with massages.
Then, take her to a nice light play in a theater (not a movie, a play), with a late dinner at a nice upscale restaurant.
Topped off by drinks in a dim cozy spot, possibly at home in front of the fire, and you know the rest.

Depending on where you live, a great night out would be to a show (I prefer live theater, like a play), after a great dinner, and a night at a hotel. It makes for a mini vacation without the hassle. We do that about twice a year, just here in our own town. It keeps the marriage young that you don't have to travel to have a vacation.
Otherwise, offer to take her to a spa for a massage and some drinks (don't have to be alcoholic). We have hot air balloon rides where I live and that just seems to be a nice idea too.
Hope you find something exciting to do.

Hi there! Secretly I wish my hubby would book us both in for massages at a spa. We're so stressed and anything that reduces stress is good. We're foodies so places like fondue restaurants or unusual cuisines are always fun. If there are "haunted tours" around your town, those are loads of fun - as are the downtown carriage rides etc. Hope that helps!

If you have kids....find a baby sitter !!

Make Reservations at a nice hotel room prior to this....go to the room and place some candles around the room....buy her a single rose and leave it in the room.

Take your wife to a nice fancy restaurant, dim lights, soft music.....have a bottle of wine,,,,,,talk to her,,,,,walk her by the hand,,,,bring out the chair before she sits down.....

after dinner....take her back to the hotel room....and you will be shocked at her response.

My husband did this and it was AWSOME !!

Good Luck !!

I would love a dinner at a romantic location, and a night in a sweet-*** hotel that we would never spend that much money on during an actual vacation.

taken out to a nice dinner/theater restaurant and a hotel room after with flower petals on the bed and a hot tub in the room and candles. you have a bag packed for her and all she knows is to dress up nice.

my husband did this to me, he even bought me a dress to wear and had scheduled me to have my hair done. i came home from the hair dresser he claimed he was running late so i had to run the kids over to his moms. thats when he packed me an overnight bag for the hotel, with a sexy nightie. i was so happy i cried.. did i mention he also had made the reservations as an anniversary package, which ment we had a baloon, cake, champaign and a photo taken. i never loved him so much!!

Pick up on hints. Has your wife mentioned a restaurant she'd like to try, or even a movie she'd like to see? There's nothing sweeter than a small surprise. Simple things like ice skating in the park , drawing a hot bath, surprising me with small gestures of flowers and candle lit dinners are on top of my list.

good luck!

Movies, dinner and dance followed by a nice hotel room will do wonders for a relationship. Have someone babysit.
