This does not necessarily have to be a scary experience - just you saw something but you were not sure. Maybe a larger than life animal or had an experience that youw were not sure about.

Two stories:

My twins were born 12 weeks early, and spent 9 weeks in the neonatal unit. It had a corridor & lots of glass-sided, brightly-lit cubicles. I used to go in every day, and just sit with them. I dreaded going in in the morning, because I never knew what I'd be told; that one of them had a problem, or was having to have some new procedure.

One morning, as I arrived, I looked down the corridor and saw two big lights in one of the cubicles. They were in the shape of angels, kneeling, with wings, like you see in a churchyard, but blazing bright. I tried to keep my eyes on them, but all the panes of glass & lights distorted them, and by the time I got there they'd vanished. My twins' cots had been moved round, and the angels had been over them, I'm sure. I knew then that the babies would be alright. Yes, it was my imagination, my mind; I suppose.

Secondly, and on a lighter note:
I saw a tall cactus in someone's front garden. It was growing out of a rockery, and was so big - I love cacti, and was amazed it had done so well, outside, in the UK. I went home and told my husband, and when we were out the next day, he agreed to do a detour so he could see it. It was a folded-up rotary dryer, with a green cover over it.

I swear to God that this is true! You will never believe me, in fact you may call me a madman or a heavy drug user but it really did happen!

I once had just come home from work at about eight o'clock in the evening in the winter - you know the scene, dark quiet and peaceful. Well as I got out of my car, through the fog a minicab came, pulled up at the house opposite mine and that's when it happened. The driver of the minicab GOT OUT OF HIS CAR and went and rang the doorbell of the person he was picking up!!!!!!!!!!!!

He didn't sit there honking his horn for half an hour, while his rattly diesel engine shook foundations loose. He GOT OUT and rang the doorbell!

It was a few years back, and sometimes I think I must be remembering an episode of The Outer Limits or The Twilight Zone, but I swear it happened.

Feel free to call me crazy, but I really do believe this happened.

Once whilst walking in the forest , it was Winter, about this time of the year and it was getting dark. My dogs were running ahead then suddenly did a u-turn and raced back to me with their hair standing straight on their backs and foam hanging from their mouths. I looked up and saw a person standing in the middle of the path just looking at us. My dogs were howling they were so scared . Then whatever it was disappeared. I was petrified i had to pass the place where it stood. Don't know who or what it was but could not have had good intentions .

Good question. One night i was woken by my husband (now my ex) at about 2am in the morning. He had got up to go to the loo and our loo window faced the street. He showed me what he had seen cos it was still there - a huge black cat! Like a panther. I looked at it for a second then flew downstairs for my camera. I was scared to open the front door, also facing the street, but i did cos i wanted a photo but it had gone. Because i was so bleary eyed at the early hour I wasnt really convinced i'd seen it, but of course he saw it too so it must have been true, and I know there are big cats loose in UK but you just dont expect to see one.

Yeah one time at my house I was in the bathroom and the mirror looking into another room if you were looking into it. I was washing my face and when I came up to see if I got everything there was a smaller face which looked like it was in the other room. I was so frighted that I turned to look into the other room before I really got a good look in the mirror and nothing was in the other room. When I turned back nothing was in the mirror. I don't know if I was imagining things or what but I swear I saw the face of a man in my mirror!!

I had this dream which had these flying water tankers, people say that you only dream what you've seen and experienced. well i never saw anything like that before. Another dream i was in front of an old man, who i had never seen before, his lips were moving but i couldn't here the words. It was a bit strange especially how i remember them so vividly.

Once I was coming out of the chinese late at night with my husband and I saw two blue lights moving eerily quickly and silently through the sky, in a way and pattern I couldn't believe could be an aircraft. before I could point them out they were gone, I didn't tell him because I would just have looked stupid(or drunk, or both) but I spent a few eeks after wondering what the hell they could have been.

I was working in a restaurant in Preston dock. On my last night a leg walked past me. An ex explained that time is a ribbon and sometimes overlaps, so I may have glimpsed the future or the past. I still think someone lost their leg and it was looking for its owner
