Gram is the unit of mass and liter is the unit of volume - this is like trying to convert smells into colors.

You need to know what substance you are measuring, or else you cannot figure this out. There is no direct conversion from a unit of mass (like grams) to a unit of volume (like liters).

Just to show an example of when you know the substance, I'll assume it is pure water. I happen to know that 1 mL of pure water weighs one gram. Therefore, 580 grams of water have a volume of 580 mL, or 0.58 L.

If it's 580 g of water (@25 deg C,) it's 0.580 liter.
(1 liter of water weighs 1 kg)

If it's anything else - not a clue.
