I always screw up in the gift department. So I'm thinking of asking her to just flat out tell me what she wants. By making a wish list. Would that be so wrong?

Not at all! She will appreciate you asking what she "really" wants!

I wouldn't be offended. Some men are just horrible when it comes to gift buying, and that doesn't mean he doesn't love me. If my man asked me to make a list, I would gladly do it because then I would know I'd be getting something I would really want, and I would know that he cared enough to want me to have something I'd want.♥

I don't mind making a list. I have actually done that for my husband before. Now he is finally getting the hang of it. I see nothing wrong with getting a little help from her. Just don't ask her to wrap it too...my hubby did that like our 3 year together. Now I tell him just get a bag. Best of luck to you.

I wouldnt be offended-at least I'd be guaranteed a decent gift! and if she says something like 'oh I really dont mind' she means I want diamonds and lots of 'em :D

Absolutely not! I make a list for my hubby to take some of the stress out of his shopping...and to ensure I don't end up with a can opener or vacuum cleaner!

I don't think that's a bad idea at all. It would let her know that you're thinking about her & that you really want to give her something that she desires. That might be a very good idea.

Nope. I would actually think that that would be quite sweet. Better than not getting anything or nothing I want. :)
