the parents take care of the babys the female will eat her fry if in danger from other fish one day you look down and see a small baby looking out from under a rock just make sure you have a lot of hiding spots for the fry lava rock works best this year 40 fry in 75 gal tank i give them to the local fish store for credit

Most of them will. You need to take the holding female (if we are talking mouthbrooders) out of the main tank to a seperate tank. When she releases the fry, put her back and feed the young crush fish flakes.
If you have found a few fry in the main tank, get them out if you can and put them into a seperate tank.

Yes. transfer the fry to another tank with a sponge filter and many think plants for them to hide in. they will eat liquid fry food or powdered. Another great food is compact brine shrimp in squares.
