okay, here are the real correct answers:

#1) a subject complement is an adjective that describes the main subject of the sentence. So in this case, B is the only one that comes close to that. The other three sentences all have direct objects, which are not subject complements.

#2) C is correct. the other three sentences are not in correct syntax at all.

#3) D is correct. muffler and spark plugs, more than one subject. "need" is the correct verb for plural subjects.

in cojunctions, use postive and negative adjective in conjunction.In the subject and verb, for number one, I felt better
