Both are studied at various times throughout their schooling; however, they are studied in greater depth in United States history in the 11th grade.

In the UK we tend to study WWII off and on all throughout secondary ('high') school. The way my school taught it was studying the treaty of versailles in years 8 & 9 (ages 12-13 & 13-14 respectively) then leading up to a focus on the weimar republic in about year 10 (age 14-15) and the war itself in year 11 (15-16).

Unsurprisingly, we don't really study vietnam over here.

In Australia its year 10 and we also look at Vietnam

usually in 8th grade vietname is studies around the 3rd marking period or april

They will come up when you take US History. I took that in the tenth grade but I don't know if that is the same everwhere.
