My wife and I didn't have unprotected sex at all this month (we only had sex twice since I work irregular hrs, 7 and 14 days after the first day of her last period) I wore a condom and I'm almost positive it didn't break. She is now 6 days late. She took home pregnancy tests on the first, third, and fifth days of her missed period. The latest was taken with the first urination of the morning. She was always a few days late before we got married (we have been married 4 months now) but since we have gotten married and she lost her virginity (on our wedding night) she has been pretty regular. And like I said I wore a condom both times we had sex and it didn't break, but she is now 6 days late. What are the chances that the condom and all 3 pregnancy tests have all failed?

It sounds like a fluke to me. It's possible, but I doubt she's pregnant. Give her a couple more days.

If she ovulated regularly which would be around the fourteenth day after the first day of her last period, AND the condom broke or leaked than there would be a good chance she was pregnant. That being said, if this timing and luck all worked out, she would certainly have enough pregnancy hormone in her urine on the first day of her missed period let alone the third and fifth days. Sperm only survive a couple of days in the vagina, so even if she ovulated four days late and the sperm from a broken or leaky condom fertilized the egg (all pretty unlikely) there would still be enough pregnancy hormone in her urine at this point for a positive test. The odds are hopefully in your favor for the negatives on the pregnancy tests to be accurate. However, adult women with regular periods are supposed to keep having them regularly and any change in that should be discussed with a GYN. More importantly, this waiting is probably driving both of you nuts, so your wife might want to make an appt. with the doc to get a blood test to be extra sure and to discuss some possible reasons why she is late all of a sudden. I hope she gets her period before she gets to see the doc.

Sounds like a trip to the doctor in order. It is possible the condom failed but more likely she is just off a little bit in her cycle. It happens sometimes. I know I was worried a few months back in a similar situation and it turned out to be much worry about nothing.
