And ill people who suffer more at night, lonely people who feel it more at night, then ask a cop on night shift how he feels about the night. Nah, I do not think the night belongs to lovers.

True lovers have no specific time. Also, I heard it said that 99% of crime is committed in the dark so I would say it belongs more to evil doers.
