Start with a teacher or a book on chords .It's not very hard to understand how chords are wrote out in a beginner book.Practice strumming them and get used to placing your ringers on frettboard.Your tips of your finger's will get sore but keep playing as long as you can each day.The biggest thing in learning is pactice .Practice makes perfect, the more time each day you put aside to practice the better you will become. The guitar is a great thing because it leaves it all up to you on how good you get.
Good luck

here you can get it:
cyberfret.com
you can also google for 'electric guitar lesson'
but i suggest that you begin with a teacher and a classic guitar. it takes longer and more expensive, but pays off later: you'll be far better... let's say, a guitarist...
good luck

I started off learning songs by others. Just search for "Guitar Tabs", pick a site, and find your favorite band!
