The new playstation 3 cost so much it's almost a sin to buy it... and too embarrasing for me to ask.
Besides I don't want to get shot and robbed over owning on anyway.
I don't want the Nintendo Wii it will just come up with a bunch of retarded Mario games, like "Mario party 25"
the Xbox 360 may be good, how expensive is that anyway? I hear it has great graphics.
And then there is the old Playstation 2, it's the cheapest of all, but has a huge selection of games.
As of now, I have a gamecube, it hardly has any games any more.
They never came out with much, just mario crap...
I like games like splintercell, WW2 games, sports games, racing games(not NASCAR)... but mainly shooters...
I hate all those mythical games, and stupid games with gore...
So what system would be the best for me for Christmas... which is the best price... preferably cheaper...and which one is most likely to come out with the games I like?

go with the ps3. It may be the most expensive but it has the best value. Sony is selling it at a loss in expectation that they will make up for it in the games. The games as you know usually dominate xbox with a few exceptions. The only way I could see someone buying the xbox360 is if they were into halo3.

If you are not a solid hardcore genra or system faithful I think you would probaly make out the best with a PS2 Before you make a decision to buy you should ask yourself a few questions like why do you want the system you want. Here are a few point to consider.
Lenghty game library & Great Games Ps2/ Xbox 360
Modest price Ps2
Best Graphics Ps3/ Xbox
In regards to the latter if you do not have a HDTV or atleast EDTV you will not get any of the benifits of these enhanced graphic therfore you would probaly do better with a Ps2 or if you can find one a Sega Dreamcast the game play is Awsome and the library is huge but they have a lot of crap too as though all systems

Ehh, Xbox 360 should have the games your looking for, and I believe it is priced around 500$? (comes with two games if you can find a deal).
Just so you know however, dont assume the WII is anything LIKE the gamecube. After playing all three, I can personally say the WII is my favourite.
Also, lack of games should not be an issue. Gaming developpers are interested in creating games that can be unique to the controler.
Go to a video game store (EB games, ect.), they are generally very helpful.

Well the Wii has quite a few games like call of duty 3 that lets you use their unique controller like a virtual rifle. I definetly agree that nintendo has made some dumb choices but i think they will up for it with this system. It also plays gamecube games. If it wasnt for that damn price i would say ps 3 but because of the price and insane demand the Wii is more interesting.

Xbox 360, graphics are awesome, over £100 less than PS3. The wii im not so sure that crazy contoller thing will be good!
In simple i would go for an Xbox, and when Halo 3 comes out early next year, your sorted!
Of course if your a Brit like me, you dont have much choice seeing as Europe has been dumped on by sony again, PS3 not out until the Spring! Way to Go Sony!!! Miss the Christmas period! I used to be a Playstation man, but sony messed me about for the last time, XBOX it is!

for the price the graphics and the games the xbox is the one to choose. PS3 is way to high plus they are starting to show some glitches as with all New devices. Get the xbox and kick some Halo butt.

properly think of roughly this.... a baseball activity lasts approximately 2-3 hours on the main, and its as quickly as and you will watch it on television. and a gaming console has limitless use and video games.... identity take the activity console, fantastically in case you have by no skill had one, it is your maximum suitable hazard and time to get one, i could recommend the xbox 360 additionally. and yea, those are the worst video games to base your desicion off of, think of of halo 3, assassins creed, mass result, call of accountability 4... now those video games are properly worth enjoying.

ask for a ps3. sure, its expensive but I got one and its AMAZING!!
all of the ps&ps2 games work on it + it has a blue-ray disk player.
