Capitalize all the words in the title except for stop words (and, the, to, a)

Underline it if it's handwritten. Italicise it if it's on a word processor.

If you are writing it formally in MLA or APA style (MLA is for English and APA is for Science) You would typically write it in bold and have it underlined and written the exact same way it appears on the book cover. I.E capitals in the same spots. To bold and underline using microsoft word you simply hit the square dark B button near the top right and the underlined U. If they are selected both will become indented. Then type the title and then click the buttons again to go back to the original style of writing you had before you wrote the title. If you need to do it again then you follow the same steps. Hope that helps

The title of a book would be underlined.

Chapters in a book, songs, etc. have quotation marks around them.

You could do 1 of 3 things:
Capitalise it
Underline it
or
put it in quotes.
All are acceptable.
