The magic of Christmas-the lights,carols,the hustle and bustle of the malls,all the smells esp Fir. buying presents in anticipation of the joy,the big smiles on those who bought for when they open them.the ringing bells of the Salvation Army Workers, all the smiling friendly faces for its the one holiday where Love is found everywhere. BUT what I Treasure Most is the Birth of the ChristChild for this birth brought me and everyone Hope, the Hope of Heaven and what could possibly be a better present than that

Lots of love and good will in the air.
Also this time of the year has 2 other Holidays that are festive...Hanukkah & Kwanza.

I enjoy buying gifts to surprise friends and family and watching their faces as they open gifts. I've scored a couple of real winners - I once bought what I considered a "gag" gift for an aunt who is always buying at least one "gag" gift at Christmas for other family members to open - only when she opened it, she really loved it and thought it was her actual gift. Her actual gift that year was what she'd requested - a replacement for a gift I'd given her a couple of year's previous that had been broken. Also, one year I bought my husband a video game he'd really wanted and left it under his pillow that evening marked "from Santa."

I love everything about it. The music, the food, the smells, the lights and decorations, getting together with family and friends, volunteering for local charities, shopping, etc. I also love the crisp weather and snow but I don't live anywhere where it ever does snow.

I like waking up my parents with really loud music, and opening presents, and starting off the christmas season before thanksgiving.

For me its the lights. I absolutely love looking everywhere and seeing sparkling lights. I don't care of they are colored lights, or simply white. I just think the greatest thing is to see the sparkle. Simply beautiful!
