No they can't tell your parents. They(parents) are not allowed to even be in the room during something like that. I also think that the first thing you should do before you go back into the doctors(before you get undressed) is to sign a Privacy Consent Form. Saying they are not allowed to tell anyone about the contents of this exam. I also advise you to be careful of who your doc is. Cause no offense some parents are nosy and I had a friend who went to the doctors and her mom was good friend with the doc and the doc told all bout the exam and what she found. And what my friend told her so do please be careful.

As others have said, your hymen can be an indicator of your virginity, but it can be broken in other ways, so your doc will probably think nothing of it. When asked if you're a virgin, TELL THE TRUTH. Your doc needs to know so you can be tested for STD's like HIV and Chlamydia. You're not doing yourself any favors by lying. You might also want to ask about birth control, however, your parents might be able to find out about this one...but condoms can be bought over-the-counter anyway. Nothing to be embarrassed about - the cashier might smirk but they will forget you in 5 minutes. An unintended pregnancy is a different story!

If you're going to the Gyno they usually give you a health history to fill out anyway. There is a question on there regarding your sexual activities (i.e. how many sexual partners you've had in a year, ect)...You should definitely answer them honestly and no your doctor won't tell your parents. There is a doctor-patient confidentiality agreement and so legally they are not allowed to release that information to anyone...nor would they have any reason to do so. Don't be over paranoid. Going to the gyno (especially if your sexually active) is very important to your health as a woman and isn't as scary as it sounds.

How old are you? If you're over 18 they can't legally tewll your parents. They can only tell you've had sex if they see that your hymen is broken...but even then, the hymen can be broken by other things (like horseback riding, injuries, etc) Unless they are examining you specifically for the purpose of determining if you are a virgin they porbably won't be able to really tell. And they most likely won't tell your parents.

Usually they can when & only when, you have a female exam.. No, they won't tell your parents. If you are having this exam, ask your parents to leave the room. As a Nurse, I can tell you that is the usual procedure. Be up front with your doctor as he/she has important information to protect you from disease. Docs are not embarrassed by this.

First of all, there is a law called patient confidentiality. YOur Dr. is legally not allowed to tell your parents anything with out your permission. Secondly, a Dr. can do an internal examination but only if you allow them to do so. there's no need to freak out.

depends on what kinda doc you are talking about. An OBGYN will know. If you are 18, then they dont have to dicuss anything with your parents. if you are younger, then its best to tell your mother before she takes you

Yes, a doctor (ob/gyn) can tell by a female examination.

They won't tell your parents in most states, but there are some that will. Hope that you're not in one of those states.

Hmmmmm..........
