It's actually my daughters computer. She was playing a game and then my son who is 6 played for a little while and then my daughter comes to me freaking out because the game just stopped and went to a black screen. I got it off the black screen and it went to the desktop and everything was sideways....icons...everything. I tried to right click on the desktop to go to the menu and the mouse is messed up to. I checked and it's not clogged up or anything it is rolling good. It works it just doesnt go where you want it to go. What can i do??

Try pressing CTRL, ALT, and the UP Arrow.

Hope that helps.

If you have a little Graphics icon near the clock this could hold the answer to your problem ... I know that some configuration settings allow you to "Rotate" your screen ... if not
Try booting into "Safe Mode" ... as the computer starts hit F8 and select safe mose ... logon as administrator and just let it power up then restart as normal ... if this doesn't fix things
Restart .. again in safe mode and do a system restore to a time before the problem happened ... you will undo any changes made after that point and may have to reload any programs and such ... but it should fix your problem
Good Luck :)

Well, restart and if you can get the mouse to work, then right click on the desktop, then go to graphic properties. Then click the display settings. Click allow rotation and then click according to which way it turned.

What can make a screen go sideways? I don't know. Perhaps an earthquake? Am I right?
