My old relationship was bittersweet. I end up getting pregnant, but i ended up getting an abortion and breaking up with him. He was not doing right. He dropped out of school. I am currently in school pursuing Law.

Maybe its because of your choice of abortion, or your ability of not wanting to commit. your so much into law school that you dont have the time to have a healthy relationship. Or it could be that your an ugly pre-law student, he's looking for reese witherspoon. LATer, my pot pie is ready.

Good educational move on your part! It is hard after you break up with someone. Feelings, real and raw still linger around inside you. Keep looking towards the future. You don't need a person who is going to hold you back in life. And if you are good looking, maybe guys are intimidated by you. Maybe they think you have a man! Concentrate on your education and Mr. Right will come along when you're not looking so hard.

My guess would be that you are intimidating to men Obviously you are intelligent because your in law school and you have a big ego"I am beautiful" and apparently attractive and you apparently are strong minded and do what you want when you want it( I infer this from your comments re abortion) this whole package makes for an intimidating woman and men and women are often put off by this. Its great that your so positive and self assured but tone it down a little and be more approachable or you may find that your life will be quite lonely.

Same here I'm 48 My GF that was the best was 4yrs ago. You have to be the one to ask a guy out. You can't loose. Go out with Educated men not cool men.

You could look like Helen of Troy, but if your heart is not in it, men will be able to tell. Concentrate on law -- and if you're really itching to date, remember that law school is full of aspiring men who will be happy to discuss things like torts with you. I know from experience...
