Love the UK, but think its the USA. My friends boy went to live in the US for a year, he was really behind at school here dyslexic. Went to the US and came home being able to read and write, he wants to go back cause he says they teach you so much more there, he gets so frustrated in class in the UK, teachers haven't got time to give pupils the solo attention they need classes are too big. The education system in the US is so much better and lets face it if you've got your education your on your way up to a better life.

I am British and would prefer to live in Britain, I think. not to say there is anything wrong with America. Things I prefer about Britain: No guns. Less relgious fanatics. Less blind patriotism (my country right or wrong). Gentle manners. Better views towards alcohol. The history.
Things I like about USA: Enthusiasm and confidence of the people. Ambition. Culture, they put so much money into television and film.

UK. freedom of speech is valued more, as are people's human rights. predjudice isn't as prevalent. and although technically the US's economy is freer, it only really allows the poor to get poorer they even have and the rich to get richer. the UK is more expensive but if you lived and worked here over a long period of time you wouldn't notice it.

British and proud but i love Americans, I agree with the gun issue and i just feel it's safer here in Britain. I have friends (Americans) in Colarado and they have a wonderful life so i suppose its what you make it wherever you are.I would love to live in New Jersey though with Jon Bonjovi...
