What about "Wild Hearts Can't be Broken"
It may be a little to deep for too young of a girl.

The Black Stallion and Flicka.

they need to make more and better horse movies..but here's some I enjoyed:

The Horse Whisperer
Seabiscuit
Dreamer
National Velvet
Black Beauty
Black Stallion (none of the others, like the young black stallion. they're boring and uneventful in my opinion)

But overall the best were Seabiscuit and the Black Stallion. Hope this helps

i love the action picture Flicka. I cry so tricky anytime I watch the horse being taken away. I also love Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron. i imagine you actually should be a horse human being to sit down down and watch that action picture because properly, Spirit would not communicate, the voice are his concepts. Edit: And the action picture Virginia's Run. that's so insperational and touching.

International Velvet (and National Velvet, though only if she likes old movies.)

Oh, and I adored the Disney film (non-animated) Ride A Wild Pony when I was a kid. I think it was from 1973.

How about "The Black Stallion?" It was one of my favorite books growing up and I heard the movie was pretty good.
