I know it probably doesn't sound the best but time seriously does help- in 10 years' time you'll look back and realise that it wasn't so bad. Arguably alcohol and revenge speed up the process...

Awww poor you. Just give it time and pray every night. Keep your friends and family near you at all times. They're the ones who love you the most and will keep your mind off of it. If you haven't already, tell someone you trust what's keeping you down. You'll feel better once you get it all out. Good luck.

Take your mind off of it. It seriously is the best way. Get out there and keep yourself busy. Keeping yourself occupied will redirect your attention so you aren't focusing all on your broken heart.

Surround myself with LOTS of friends and family who really DO care and aren't there to condemn either side. It's too late to go with 'he said, she said'. It's now time to ease the pain and move on. No, it's not simple, but negative thoughts just hold it there longer. DO NOT rush into another relationship. That wouldn't be fair to you or them. DO NOT go into a drug and/or alcohol stupor because again, the pain will still be there, but you'll be sick or arrested - what did THAT do for you?? Prayer is always a plus. Good luck and God's speed on healing!!
