By setting the parameters and defining the problem as you have the focus has to be on masking the smell until time and decay solves the problem. I would recommend shake and vac - though use it sparingly as the cost could mount up until the smell disappears

Get a small pump up garden sprayer and spray thru cracks a deodorant, i have used a product called Simple Orange, its for use in pet stores and such, Pet Smart should have it, the good news is it should go away completely in a few days, good luck and happy Thanksgiving!

Buy a kipper and leave it by a radiator that should mask the mouse smell.

Air fresheners, air fresheners and more air fresheners. The only consolation is that mice are relatively small and their body mass won't take long to break down. The smell only lasts a couple of days.

first you find the mouse, and remove it , then spray your carpet with carpet cleaner., and deep clean it
