i need to know what the theme song is for that 70's show, so i can put it on myspace because that song is awesome i just love to sing it!

It's actually by the band Big Star featuring Alex Chilton. They used the original version for the first season, then had Cheap Trick re-record it once the show was picked up. The song is called "In the Street", but they renamed it "That 70's Song".
If you like that song you'll like a bunch of Big Star's other stuff like "O My Soul", which is also on "#1 Record". You can now get a cd with 2 of their albums on it, see link below.
Alex Chilton had a song named after him by the Replacements, because they were such big fans of his music. Last bit of trivia: Big Star is named after a supermarket chain.
