Black Comedians Vs White Comedians?

Question

I have a question and please leave out all the Past/History bullsh#t.Today is a new world!
Why is it that,Most all,if not all Black Comedians always make jokes about White People.Make fun of how Whites talk,call them "Crackers",and so on?and the strange thing is that TV networks allow this type of discrimination,ala BET.
But if you ever hear a White Comedian making fun of Black people by how they talk,calling Blacks for example,"Nappy Heads"like they call white people Crackers then they break out Attorneys wanting to sue,they want to punish the White Comedian for doing exactly what they do.Then they contact the "NAACP" and they get all into it,protest what have you.I do not understand.Do Blacks get a "Free Pass" to discriminate against white people?
Also keep stupid answers to yourself,I myself am Black,Im just trying to understand why. ;)

I'm not sure you can leave out history. I really don't take it seriously when black people insult white people. Honestly, I'm not even sure what the hell a "Cracker" is. What can they say? White people sue? Can't dance? But if whites start insulting blacks, it can go from simple insults to downright hurtful. Think of Kramer's recent tirade - what can a black comedian say that could possibly match the connotation of stringing up a black person and shoving a pitchfork up his asss? That's not funny, it's not sane, it's the rantings of a racist.

I'm not sure there's a corresponding line with any other race.

But simply put, I don't think blacks insulting whites carries nearly the power that whites insults blacks carries, and it is a holdover from the past, and it will take a very long time, lifetimes, to remove it.

I agree. Black comedians of the past like Mantan Moreland relied on true talent and didn't resort to racist and vulgar jokes. Most of today's black comedians rely on recycled race jokes and childish bathroom/graphic sex jokes. And that show ComicView on BET is a minstrel show.

I like plenty of black comedians but most of them are dead. As far as the new comics go, I'll take Jeff Foxworthy, Lewis Black and Will Ferrell over ComicView anyday. Today sadly only the white comedians are funny.

1) which black comedians use the word cracka? 2) black comedians spend FAR more time making fun of their own black people than they do talking about whites. 4) white comedians who make fun of blacks: Don Rickles, Bobby Slaton, Lisa Lampinelli, Bill Burr, Andrew Dice Clay...need more? they may not use certain words, but they do talk about blacks, about black people talking in the movies, etc. 5) if someone white wants to protest against a black comedian, go right ahead. no one is stopping them.

Yeah i totally agree with you! But if you watch BET thats what you are going to get. The comedians on BET are the typical "ghetto" stereotypical black people. Many blacks on say comedy central may make fun of white people but they don't just keep to that race but make fun of every race. I don't think certain terms like cracker or nappy head is inappropriate but poking fun is okay as long as it doesn't cross the line. I watch South Park and they make fun of everyone and everything and i love it.

I would like to start off by saying a comedians job is to poke fun at anythng and everything weather your black , white, orage or blue... that is why they are funny... who cares about all this racist BS, this world has enough hate in it already, am i to be offended in that eddie murphy ( i think in raw) was making fun of Italians? No!! I laughed my a** off cause it was hilarious... I think everyone is just becoming WAYYYY to sensitive. Or should every woman be offended at the great Sam Kinison because of the stuff he said about women? Or every christian be offended by the things he he joked about? No!! He is a comedian hes hialrious and that his job to make you laugh you a** off.

Some of the price/cost affect only black people.

I've not seen them complain on this site, but I've seen your complaint over and over. Go figure.
