On a temperature graph, what would be the independent and dependent variables?

are these right:
i.Independent Variable: Temperature ( An independent variable is what is being measured/recorded.)
ii.Dependent Variable: Time (A dependent variable is what changes in the experiment.)

You have it backward. The temperature is dependent on some function of time not the other way around.

no, other way around, you control and measure the time, temperature is a function of time
