just as it is normal for guys to be attracted to girls who are a little younger

Totally normal. Older men can seem wise, intelligent, worldly, confident, emotionally stable, good providers...all the things a woman is attracted to. Nothing wrong with being with a guy who is older than you. Age is just a number. Enjoy!

Normal is such a relative term... what's normal for you may not be normal to me. However, I think women are attracted to men who are a bit older because they mature later. I know that sounds cliche, but in all of my experience (friends, classmates, etc.) guys just take a bit longer. And I think that people are looking for their equals.

What's behind it? Maybe a desire for maturity. Also you may be attracted to a man that knows what is doing and doesn't fumble around in the dark. Maybe it's money related or you like their nice cars.

It is not absolutely abnormal but then depending on how old you are as well. Younger than 18 seeing a guy 10+ years older is a bit much in my opinion.

Men mature a lot slower than women so when you are attracted to older men it is just that your mental ages are more in sync.
